OneNote Gem Add-Ins

Gem for OneNote v38 add a new feature to sort pages according the numerically in title.

Page Title Include Chapter + Number

In general, novels are usually include Chapter  + Digital as title.
The pages maybe disorder after imported into OneNote.
The pages don't order as the novel chapter order.

For example, in the figure below, the pages arrange like this:

Chapter1
Chapter10
Chapter100
Chapter101
……

Normal, they should be arrange like this:

Chapter1
Chapter2
Chapter3
……
Chapter10
…..

The normal arrangement should be arranged the pages according the numerical behind of chapter.

Sort Pages According the Number in Title

To sort according by article chapters, we use "Gem for OneNote" add-in feature "Sort 0 to 10" feature.

In "Gem" tab -> "Sort" group -> "Page" menu -> click "Sort 0 - 10".

Now, we can see the pages are sorted to follow order:

Chapter1
Chapter2
Chapter3
……
Chapter10
…..


Thus, the pages of chapter restore to correct chapter order.

Sort 10 - 0
At the same time, Gem for OneNote also provide "Sort 10 - 0" descending order for pages.
This feature is opposite to the "Sort 0 - 10".

Other Page Sort Features
Gem for OneNote provide follow features to sort pages:

• Sort A to Z:  Sort pages by alphabetical ascending order A to Z.
• Sort Z to A:  Sort pages by alphabetical descending order A to Z.
• Sort 0 - 10:  Sort pages by title, according number in title, from 0 to 100.
• Sort 0 - 10:  Sort pages by title, according number in title, from 100 to 0.
• Create Time Ascending: Sort pages by page created time, according created time ascending.
• Create Time Descending: Sort pages by page created time, according created time descending.
• Modified Time Ascending: Sort pages by page modified time, according modified time ascending.
• Modified Time Descending: Sort pages by page modified time, according modified time descending.
• Move Page to Top: Move current page to the start of section.
• Move Page to Bottom: Move current page to the end of section.
