OneNote Gem Add-Ins

Question:

When I save or export a page with rule lines or gridlines with OneNote on my computer or iPad, the exported page doesn't have rule lines or grid lines.
I have handwriting and drawings in the page and I need these lines.
How do I export a page with these lines?
 

Answer:

Rule lines or grid lines in OneNote are only temporary elements.
They are only temporary lines that are used as handwriting or drawing alignment or focus.
All of them are added at any time, or canceled, not real.
 
When you export or save a page, OneNote cancels these lines by default.
There is no way to export when with these lines. Unless you take a screenshot of the screen.
