How to Skip Sign In Window to Use OneNote Without Account When First Time Launch It?

Question:

Just installed OneNote.exe and I don't want to log in to my Microsoft account.
How can I use this OneNote.exe without signing in to my Microsoft account?
 

Answer:

The first time you launch OneNote.exe, you will be asked to sign in to your Microsoft account.

Connect to the cloud
Sync notes and settings to your phone, PC and the web.
Sign in


And this window doesn't have an X, so it can't be closed.
 

Solution:

You can right-click the OneNote icon on the Windows taskbar.
In the pop-up menu, there is the menu item "Close all windows".
Click "Close all windows" to close the login window.
This way, you can skip and use OneNote without signing in to OneNote.
 

If you don't want to log in to your account to use OneNote, you can close the OneNote sign in window from the Windows taskbar.
