One Reason Why OneNote takes up all of Machine's Memory?

Question:
Why is OneNote using 94% of my memory just to have a notebook idling opened on my computer?Answer:
I ended up finding out that one of the sections of one of my notebooks had been too large to sync at all (even though I had room on my drive).I think the OneNote was constantly trying to sync the notebook and cycling through failures, using a ton of my memory.
I turned off auto sync, and it stopped.
I then split the section in half by just cut/pasting half of the pages into a new section within the same notebook.
Then, I did a sync, and everything is back to normal as far as I can tell.
Soon after, I closed all of my current notebooks since my semester ended. Summer semester just began, so I will just be sure to always split the lecture section in two and all should be well.
